As of January 9, 2012 we have openings for:

1) Precision Brake Operator - Sheet Metal Shop
Bend precision sheet metal components using multi-axis Amada CNC brake presses. The candidate would have to be familiar with sheet metal fabrication, tolerances, meassuring tools and be able to run a brake press with minimal training. 

2) Estimator - Machining
to take customer drawings and estimate materials, finishing, labour to generate a part price for our customers to review. A technical background in machining would be an asset. This would be a great job for a tradesman who can no longer or does not want to operate a machine. Computer skills, good written and spoken English and the desire to "get the order" are essential for the job.

3) Journeyman Manual Machinist
to make precision aluminum and stainless steel parts for our customers using Bridgeport EZ-Trak or standard milling machines and lathes. We would also consider someone in years 2/3 or 4 of their apprenticeship.
